2010

Saturday July 24th, Mandy plays at B.B. Rover's Cafe and Pub on Jolleyville Road in North Austin. Another GREAT Austin venue, and easy to get to. Just take 183, get off at Oak Knoll, go west on Oak Knoll under the freeway, turn right (north) on Jolleyville, and it's a few blocks north, just look for the blue awnings. (Seriously it takes me 10 minutes to get there from South Austin!!) Great food, full bar, no cover, and 300 kinds of beer!!! 8 pm to 11 pm (we're doing earlier shows at BB Rover's these days by request!!). Mandy will be accompanied by musical ace Cam King, who's a guitar wizard and also writes his own great songs. Mandy and Cam have worked together before and it's always a blast.

Saturday, August 14th at 9 pm, Mandy returns to Giddy Ups in Manchaca with the "Tri-Namic Triad" of herself, Pat Mears and Mickey White. This was a great combination last time, when the three of us did a show together following the Austin Outhouse Reunion (each of us will do a full set). Pat Mears, a longtime Austin favorite, made several successful albums in, and tours of Europe and her return to the stage is a real thrill; Pat brings favorites from her early years along with great new songs. Mickey White, well known longtime accompanist of Townes Van Zandt and part of the hilarious Hemmer Ridge Mountain Boys with "Wrecks" Bell, will rock the house; Mickey is a super-dynamic guitarist and performer. Pat, Mickey and Mandy are by now (!) veterans of the Austin music scene and this should be a great show. Come on out, bring your friends. Going south from Austin on Manchaca Road, Giddy-Up's is just before the "T" intersection at Manchaca, TX, on your right. See the Giddy Ups website for map and directions!!

Thanks for your encouragement and support!! Watch this space for updates and hope to see you up the road!!
